Alex Hutton

Alex Hutton is a freelance sports journalist. He currently works as a production assistant and co-host of "Sports Central Showdown" at CBS Los Angeles. Previously, he covered the San Jose Sharks for The Hockey Writers from 2022 to 2026 and the Golden State Warriors for TheWarriorsTalk from 2019 to 2022. He also wrote for The Argonaut, a magazine in Los Angeles, in 2021. As an announcer, he has done play-by-play, color commentary and public address announcing at KREI/J98 Radio in Farmington, Missouri and for various sports teams in the Los Angeles area. He attended undergrad at Loyola Marymount University and received his master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
